On Windows, Perl is built using a patched 5.40.2 version including a patch fixing perl CVE-2025-40909. It uses now OpenSSL 3.5.0, libxml2 library v2.14.3, GLPI-AgentMonitor 1.4.1 and dmidecode 3.6-update-1. Also Perl locale support has been disabled as not used.
The MacOSX packaging now uses OpenSSL 3.5.0.

We fixed a regression introduced in 1.12 where the Deploy task was no longer executed when triggered from the local HTTP interface
On first contact with a GLPI 10+ server, the GLPI agent will now also send supported tasks
On systems where a proxy is defined by environment variables, you can now set proxy to none to not use this proxy system configuration
We introduced a new required-category setting to help use GLPI business rules when full inventory reporting is enabled. This forces inclusion of a category in partial inventory even if content has not changed.
We added itemtype et esx-itemtype configurations if the server supports generic asset types like GLPI 11+ will

Regarding packages, here's what to note:
The Windows MSI installer wrongly suggested that user et password were for proxy authentication; we corrected this and clarified the corresponding installer window to show they are for basic HTTP authentication, a common method supported by GLPI-Network Cloud
The corrected MSI installer window now also allows setting OAuth id and secret if the server supports OAuth authentication like GLPI 11+ will
On Windows, Perl is now compiled in version 5.40.1 with OpenSSL v3.4.1 support, msys2-base 20241208, libxml2 library v2.13.6 and dmidecode 3.6
The MacOSX package now uses Perl v5.40.1 and OpenSSL v3.4.1

Scheduler
The task scheduler executing automatic inventory has been rewritten using JobScheduler.
This allows Android to determine the optimal time to run the automatic inventory within the defined interval (day, week, month), while complying with Android recommendations on battery usage, mobile network access, etc.
Notification
The notification engine has been rewritten to comply with Android best practices.
From Android 13, you will be asked to allow notifications on the first launch.
(You can revisit this setting in your Android device's notification settings).
Permissions
The permission process has been rewritten for better compatibility with the latest version of Android.

etc.
As long as the MDM /EMM tool supports managed configurations , you can configure the GLPI Agent (at deployment or on-the-fly).

On Windows, a fix from the community prevents overwriting of Keystore exported certificates. So these certificates are no more ignored. On Windows, a new ssl-keystore option is available to disable or optimize Keystore certificates export. Bitdefender antivirus support has been updated on Windows. TacticalRMM remote management inventory support has been added on MacOSX. Users inventory has been fixed with partial inventory used with full-inventory-postpone. Few updates for Hikvision devices support and Konica printers have been included in NetDiscovery and NetInventory tasks Deploy task won’t no more display an error when running a PowerShell script on Windows.
